whether stamp duty on share certificates in BOI is of any denomination or its above Rs. 5000/- In BOI which department? one my friend went there in oct. 15 but they said services now not available. Can you pl. give me complete address and telephone no. of concerned department?

I had done franking of Rs 5000/- on LLP agreement.

Now MCA shown a tht thr is deficit in payment of stamp duty .It should be 15000/- as maximum stamp duty on LLP agreement.

Banks in mumbai dont accept franking of more than 5000/-

Now how to I pay additional duty of Rs. 10,000/-

To get stamp paper of Rs 10k is difficult in mumbai.

Can i attach 20 stamp paper of value Rs. 500 to LLP agreement.as it is maximum value we get in stamp paper.

It sounds odd but I thought of asking.

Finallly the amount i pay matters, in which denomination does not.
