I did hear that from the professor's mouth in the class, but I just
want to make sure.
So we don't get tested on stuff like deadlocks, disk structures, file
systems etc?

In question 7, lthe line "jsr ps, _swtch" in the question is "jsr pc,
_swtch" in the book, line 791. Is this intentional, or a typo in the
question?

I only have 5 of the 20 problems done, and I know we need to do 12. Do
you know if there's any way that we can get feedback on our answers to
see if we're making obvious mistakes before we turn them in, or is it
just hope and submit? I went to the ARC but it wasn't really useful...

I have downloaded the source form of the book frm URL:

it gives a bunch of .tex files. I dont understand how to convert it
into a PDF. If some one has converted it into a PDF or have a PDF can
you email it.

I see that on the website it says that we're going over v6 tomorrow,
which is cool, but does anyone know what exactly we're doing with it?
Just reading it and trying to make sense of what it does, or trying to
imitate it, or analyzing why it was written the way it was, or...?
Also, are we supposed to have read the mentioned sections before... more »
