Minor patch to compile shared lib on Mac OS X

I compiled & linked dynamic shared library on Mac OS X Snow Leopard with the attached patch.
Shared libs on Mac are .dylib (not .so) and require -dynamic compiler flag.
Next patch will introduce major/minor library version numbers.
Wei, it would be nice to have this incorporated in the main library.
