Just a little update. I went for my usual appointment, nothing remarkable, but still good. The swelling had gone down some, and this was after 5 weeks (it had gone up slightly in the previous 4 week period). My VA was about the same and my IOPs were down a little, 20 and 21 this time, 21 and 22 last time. All in all, the RS was pretty happy. The Eylea is still... more »

My CRVO update
Hello-I posted back in November 2012 about my CRVO. I developed some dark spots in my vision around Thanksgiving and noticed a little blurriness too. At the time of my diagnosis, my vision had declined to 20/40. My retina doc decided to take a wait and see approach to see if my vision got better. Unfortunately over the next couple of weeks, my vision got worse... more »

27 yo female with CVRO
Hi, My wife was diagnosed with CVRO 2 weeks ago after her vision started to go blurry in her left eye. She initially thought her sight may have been going so she went to a opthamologist who then sent her to A&E at Moorfields in London. After diagnosis she gave blood for tests and has now been booked in... more »

Carol, the readings were taken 1st and 3rd week after the lucentis shot. So I'm puzzled why the crt kept going up. Maryls, does the dark cloud go away permanently? My peripheral vision on the rightmost side is better though. I hope it eventually clears up so I can start finding "my corner of the sky" :).... more »

Vision suddenly worse
There is a point where the effects seem to wear off. So it will be important to mark down when this happened for you so your doctor will know next time to space the injections closer together. But I also think it's possible that things will be better later in the day or maybe tomorrow; we do seem to get a lot of variation. I think that the really good news is... more »

Total Eye Transplant !
Hi Guys, Finally have some chat time to touch base... and here is some interesting research I made.. About, "Total Eye Transplants" With our current technology it is not now possible to transplant an entire eye. It is very common, though, to transplant corneas. Grace De Bono/ Is there a cure?
You must see a retinal specialist, Grace. Even get two opinions from RS’s if you can. The UK would be a good place if there are none local to you. Apart from that, Carol is a great source of info. I would take her advice. Best wishes, Phil, Canberra
