Getting Search Query results from API match the website

If I search for Alliance Capital via the search query API like this:
http://api.crunchbase.com/v/1/search.js?query=alliance+capital
the first results are Notches for Facebook and Pai Pai. If I do the
same search in the main website, the first results are Alliance
Capital Ventures and Inveready Capital, with the URL
http://www.crunchbase.com/search?query=alliance+capital
How do I make the results from the search query API match those from
the main website search?
