same company appear more than once in companies.js

Hi,

We are trying to collect companies information from crunchbase. But i identified same company is appearing more than once.

for example, IBM Corp there are multiple entries from companies.js

http://api.crunchbase.com/v/1/company/ibm.js
http://api.crunchbase.com/v/1/company/ibm-corp.js
http://api.crunchbase.com/v/1/company/ibm-corp-2.js
http://api.crunchbase.com/v/1/company/ibm-corp-3.js

afaik, as crunchbase is having moderation before entering anything into their system. is there any way this kind of names can be consolidated or should i have to apply my own clustering techniques on the companies data to merge such data.
