Thanks to all the people who helped save the Fruit and Vegetable stand
near East Croydon Station.
The independent goverment adjudicator threw out Croydon council's case
- not a danger to pedestrians, doesn't impair visual amenity (and
lovely fruit and veg!)

The Croydon Council Planners are trying to close the Fruit and veg
stall at East Croydon station. Shame they can't spend their time
closing down the discraceful pet store instead.
It's crazy when the NHS is encouraging us to eat more fruit and veg to
reduce the opportunities to buy fruit and vegetables.... more »

Aren't we lucky! Croydon's Mayday is one of only 4 in the country that have Burger King doing the catering! Should the NHS really not be better off trying to set a good example and showcasing healthy food?
