Today is the big day for Recovery.gov data 
  Hey friends, Today is the day Recovery.gov releases all the new raw spending data. It's only federal contracts (grants to states and loans will come on Oct. 30), but it will let us get started building Stimulus Watch 2.0. New Recovery.gov now up; fresh data on the 15th 
  Hi folks, Long time no talk. It looks like the day we've been waiting for is finally here. Recovery.gov launched its new ($18 million) redesign on Monday. They are also promising raw structured data for stimulus contracts and grants starting Oct. 15. They would like to use it for a project they're doing where volunteers report on how stimulus funds are being spent on the ground and then report their findings to the site.
