Welcome to the new home for Cross Stratum Optimization. An open, mufti-discipline research collaboration that looks for ways to make better use of network resources, e.g., bandwidth, and application resources, e.g., computer power, while delivering an improved end user quality of experience.
Participants in this effort range from application providers, data center providers, network carriers and ISPs, universities, to equipment manufacturers and more. We are particularly interested in leveraging the capacity of dynamic optical networking systems (such as high capacity wavelength division multiplex line systems and reconfigurable add/drop multiplexers) to the traffic demands of data centers and content distribution networks.
