translated menu don't link to the right locale

hi
I'm trying to make a multilingual site. I've translated the menus, but
the links always link to the default language.
What I mean is that when I'm in a french page the menu is written in
french but will link to the english page.
I'm I missing something?

if you enter URLs for links in this format, it will work the expected way: controller:contacts/action:view/contact, instead of /contact

If I set the URLs like you said, the "selected" class which is used to
show
the current page is not set correctly.
What can I do to fix this?

as far as it seems, LayoutHelper needs to be modified at line 337: http://github.com/croogo/croogo/blob/master/views/helpers/layout.php#L337
