All,

I have the 3M Press and 4 tools that allow almost all combinations of flat ribbon assembly for your Cromemco projects.  This is a left over from being a Dealer and I would not buy expensive cables from Cromemco Smile, plus I could make them the length I wanted or needed.

Anyway, I can provide that service to our group at my cost.  I do have some left over connectors at 25 year old prices but any thing new would be at todays costs.  To give some idea, 50 pin socket 3425-6000 is $7.21 at Mouser Electronics, or a 50 pin card edge 3415-0001 without flange $11.67, the ribbon cable varies by the number of conductors and length.  The one I am total out of is the 20 conductor for the hard disk so would have to purchase 100 or 300 foot roll depending on what the vendor has, but I do have in stock 50, 34, and 26.  This is all 3M quality connectors and cable.

Michael

Hi Michael,

That's a very fine press you have! I will keep you in mind as I
rebuild my Cromemco system. Thanks very much for the generous offer.

Martin

Hi Michael,

Thanks very much for your offer.

A request: I realize that these days few people give file sizes or bandwidth a second thought, but speaking for those of us who have bandwidth caps and/or are still on dial-up, possibly also paying long distance charges, I'd really appreciate it if pictures like this were sent at a more reasonable size/resolution.

Here is your 1.6MB JPG file reduced to 36.5KB (2.25% of its original size) and I don't think it's lost much vital information in the process.

Thanks for your consideration,

mike
