Last night, the Serbian police stopped an attempt of around 40 right
extremists of disturbing a gathering of activists by a few non
government organizations at the Republika Square in Belgrade.
A hundred of so activists of the coalition for a secular state,
organized a performance for the international human rights day called
"we will not go back".
Around 40 ultranationalists tried to disturb the gathering, wearing
badges of the Hague suspect Ratko Mladic. They chanted "Ratko Mladic",
"kill, slaughter, so that homosexuals do not exist", "Ustasha", "kill
homosexuals", "there will be meat, we will slaughter Croats" "save
Serbia, and kill yourself Boris" (meaning their president Boris
Tadic), reports B92.
The extremists sang Chetnik song whilst the organizations held their
performances.
The police managed to stop a clash between the extremists and non
government agency activists.
