  Eero, &lt;br&gt; I have messed around with Chargen before in SoY. And to be honest, I &lt;br&gt; think it is simple and elegant. &lt;br&gt; But, my concern is that I know my players won&#39;t read the game before &lt;br&gt; chargen and that they won&#39;t absorb enough of it during chargen for &lt;br&gt; Maldor to be any more or less meaningful to them than Amani.

  Even more frighteningly, I don&#39;t know if you&#39;ve all been following the &lt;br&gt; release of D&amp;amp;D 4th edition, but there&#39;s a &amp;quot;Bloodied&amp;quot; condition now where you &lt;br&gt; reach half your hit points, and all sorts of special options and powers &lt;br&gt; might apply, dependent upon characters. I mean, sure, it could all just be &lt;br&gt; coincidence, and lord knows there&#39;s lots of cross-pollenation in the game
