I could do an Abita ride at 7:30am to start at the caboose on Koop
drive. Start time 7:30am with a 48 mile out and back.

Bill Hairston will not be able to lead the Montpelier ride on Sunday,
May 11 (which is also Mother's Day). If anyone would like to lead that
ride, or pick a different route, please let me know.

On the last Montpelier ride there was new asphalt on 37 from 449 to
Greensburg. That was a couple of weeks ago. Anyone else have more recent
knowledge?

Break out those Camelbaks because the heat is on!

This Saturday will be Rivendell 2.5, which offers 52 hilly miles and a
new return on smoooooth asphalt. Take a right at Stoney Point and make
it 62 miles if you have the legs. The start time is 8 AM at Cucumber
corner (Hwy 450 @ 16) and the ride leader is Joe Simon.

If you are looking for a multi-day summer ride but don't have a whole
week to spend, check out the Gateway to Texas Tour based in
Clarksville, Texas, which is about 2 hours northwest of Shreveport.
This is beautiful riding country., If you want more information, I
have a flyer on the event and will be happy to scan and e-mail it too

Yeah, it isn't hard, BUT right now Google doesn't have any folders in the
FILES section so all the files (maps, photos, clip art, articles) just go
in one big directory with everything else, and we are already utilizing a
lot (58%) of our allocated space. This set up is not as good as the
photos/files section of the Yahoo e-group, so I hope Google will make
