Hi,
I have 2 PC's one with SBlive Value and one with Platinum. Since I installed
Liveware2k I can't shutdown them anymore. It hangs when it should turn off!
Anyone knows anything???

Hi Jens...Here is a article I posted to the ng a couple of days ago:

Hello my name is Bob Carlson and posted to this newsgroup a shutdown problem
and devldr.exe not closing a week ago and I think I found a solution. Don't
let the sound bar, systray icon for audio hq and systray icon "speaker" load
at startup. I found you can still use the functions in Control Panel with no
problems and the system shuts down timely, no hang. Thought I'd pass it
along to the group.  I've received replies from folks that said this fixed
it.  Good luck

I tried it but it doesn't work!!!
I deactivated the sound bar removed ahqbt.exe from registry and the
"speaker-icon". But when I try to shutdown, win2k closes all programs and
just in the moment it should turn off power everthing hangs!

Jens...you need to go into the progs eg. "launchbar" uncheck "load at
startup" same with "audiohq".  Uncheck show speaker on the sys tray, reboot,
even if you have to force the first shutdown but after that it works.  By
deleting audio hq from the registry might have caused other problems.

Bob
