Vance Gloster, one of our resident audio electronics expert is hosting a talk. Topics include: Circuit walkthrough for my preamp design. This includes a FET stage, a tone control stage (I will be discussing free design software), and an op-amp stage. I’ll bring my Chapman Stick to demonstrate the preamp. Analog synthesizer overview. I’ll bring my Moog synth and talk about how analog synthesizers are organized (including modular synths), and if there is time, go into analog synth circuit design.

In case you don’t feel like you have any “appropriate skills” to come hang out for the crafternoon part, she’ll be running a tutorial from 1:30-2 on Needle Felting. Yup. It’s that quick. Needle felted puppy -> brushbot anyone?
