Hey Everyone

Here's a recap for what's going down at CRASH Space this week.

SUNDAY - TOMORROW: 1pm - 4pm LA Microcontrollers Meeting
Are you interested in working with microcontrollers? Do you have an
art project that you would like to be interactive? Do you build
robots? The Los Angeles Microcontroller club will be having its next
meeting at Crash Space and we would love to see you there. We are a
relatively new club that is looking to provide a social environment
where people with an interest in working with electronics can get
together and talk about what we are working on... or want to work on.
The intent for this club is to have roughly once monthly meetings that
take place at a different members' work spaces each time. This will
allow the meetings to serve the larger area of Los Angeles. You might
not be able to make all of the meetings but hopefully there will be
some near you. At the meetings you can show off things that you have
been working on and meet up with others who are interested in similar
things. We have a mailing list through yahoo groups that you can find

MONDAY: 8 pm Radio Mondays

TUESDAY: 8 pm Members Meeting & Take Apart Tuesday

THURSDAY: 8 pm Steve Lampen, Belden - The Joy of Wire
Steve Lampen has worked for Belden for nineteen years and is currently
Multimedia Technology Manager and also Product Line Manager for
Entertainment Products. Prior to Belden, Steve had an extensive career
in radio broadcast engineering and installation, film production, and
electronic distribution. Steve holds an FCC Lifetime General License
(formerly a First Class FCC License) and is an SBE Certified Radio
Broadcast Engineer. On the data side he is a BICSI Registered
Communication Distribution Designer. His latest book, "The Audio-Video
Cable Installer?s Pocket Guide" is published by McGraw-Hill. His
column "Wired for Sound" appears in Radio World Magazine.

SATURDAY: Make In 12-3 pm... we need a host for this week!
