It was nice to see all the young families out with their children on
Halloween. I think we had more trick-or-treaters than ever in our 25
years in the neighborhood. Thanks for a nice evening.

Really?  Our hay ride was called on account of rain, and we had fewer trick or treaters than in years past.  I'd love to meet more families.  Any one interested in a neighborhood family get together?

I realize that my reply is somewhat belated, but I would be very interested in trying to do some family oriented neighborhood events. It would be fun for the kids and the parents. There are lots of kids in the 'hood.

we generally hold a family oriented halloween here at the house but it got rained out.  last year we had an egg toss and apple bobbing, bonfire and roasted marshmallows.  This year we had rain and men braving the rain for beer and fire.  maybe next year?
