Ok, we definitely have enough response to make it happen, so we are
going to 'schedule', (plan, intend, or what ever), a full day clinic
for this coming Saturday, the 14th. Should this be a fair weather day,
we will try again on Sunday. If folks just want to come out regardless,
let us know that too, and we can make it happen. But I expect most,
like us, would rather be flying on the few days that we get to do so
this time of year. It seems odd to schedule an event where "if it's not
raining, we will postpone..." Oh well, works for our circumstances.
The clinic is not just a chuck it and repack event, but will include
some theory, first hand accounts, videos and discussion. This is a good
chance to really learn how this expensive safety device is really
supposed to work. It will be interesting to find out which 'system
errors' we might encounter this time. It's important to note that it's
not just a reserve parachute, but a 'reserve deployment system' which
includes the parachute, the harness, the wing, and you.
$45.00 per participant gets all of the above, plus the 'priceless'
piece of mind that comes from learning about your 'system' and how it
works. ($35 per extra reserve.) Limited space available, and we will be
giving the first spots to those that have already contacted us, so let
us know early if you are interested and we will save you a spot.
Will it be a stormy weekend or a flyable one? We will hope to see you,
either on the mountain somewhere, or in our classroom.
