WHAT'S the latest on Peterson's Butte?

Has the road issue from the summer been fixed? any one know Doug M's
phone (owner/manager)?
Would like to fly there if open...

The owners have decided not to do anything on the road this year, but
permission from the renters of the road says you may do repairs as
long as it does not make it worse. Please contact me if you plan on
doing repairs to the road. I still plan on putting the ditches in as
soon as the bulldozer is put back together from a interesting upgrade
to the winch that is being done by one of the owners.

I hear that the butte is considered an advanced site, so please make
sure your new peoples get the rule and regs on it for a smooth year.

New tower on top of our peak, this might make a new hazard to be aware
of.

There are hunters from other sides of the butte and rifle season
continues at least til Friday in this area. Property lines are marked
with orange paint as per Oregon fish and wildlife regs for no hunting
or tress passing, but bullets and arrows can't read, so stay in plain
sight and put away the deer costume from Halloween.

The logging road to the north is CLOSED! to all access due to a 4x4
already tearing it up.

Remember to be off before sunset pls, call 258-1655 (leave message) if
your are running behind or stuck pasts sunset or see something is
wrong.

Please let the other groups or off list people know, and please let me
know if there are updates or corrections needed in my email or
information.
