The thinking hats were in place, a flurry of ideas sang down the tubes
of the interweb. This is the idea I think we should go with....
Hatari Jim's Paragliding Roughriders.
Large pink elephant and rider rush down the launch ramp to be hoisted
aloft by a tandem glider, soaring over the raging waters of the mighty
willamette. They might make it, they just might. But sadly no. Our
heros, and valiant support staff crash to an ignoble watery end.

We'll need to track down an old tandem glider. On problem as to how
old and unsafe as no lives will be at risk under it. Anybody have an
old thing that needs washing?

Ideas on construction?? I'm thinking ABS pipe frame filled with Great
Stuff foam or some other floatation foam as regs. state It Must Float.
Styrofoam shaping under fabric skin.
Build space?? Who gots room??
Maybe rigged with fake wings in case its just too windy for a real
glider. Or maybe not real glider at all... fake that too??
I do like the possibility of a real one though.

Well it's not an "old" thing, nor a tandem, but I do have a Gin Zulu covered
in poison oak that could definitely use a washing...
