Subject: Presidential candidates--TFRs
It's been an interesting election year so far, and unlike most
years where things have long since been settled, this year the
Democratic nomination is still up in the air. That means that
for the next couple weeks we'll have candidates tromping about
in our fair state, making speeches while standing on tree stumps,
kissing babies, shaking hands with voters and generally spreading
infectious disease wherever they go. (Ok, maybe they'll wash
between the babies and the handshaking...)

Meanwhile, cool-looking guys with sunglasses and expensive
hearing aids will be standing around trying to blend in, despite
the fact that they're all wearing black business suits with
suspicious lumps underneath, and it's pouring rain, and the
crowd is dressed in Birkenstocks, shorts and parkas. These would
be the same people who might call up FAA back east and ask for
a Temporary Flight Restriction for some security-related reason.

Here's the map:

I don't see anything right at the moment, but that can change
by the hour. These airspace closures typically don't last all
that long, but it's important to know about them and respect
them.  Before you go, *particularly* until May 20th, check the
TFR map for any surprises first.

(Fire season's coming too. Same map, same rules.)
