Friday does look marginal, except Peterson Butte looks good for soaring in WSW winds. I know we can't fly there this time of year but thought I would mention it for the record.
Saturday looks good a few places: 1. Sollie looks soarable above 2Kft. 2. Bald Butte looks good by 2pm, light winds (0-5mph) WNW, lapse rate to +6Kft,. By 5pm winds switching ENE at 0-5mph, lapse rate to +8Kft. So, because of possible E component by 5pm the plan would be to be in the air earlier. 3. Detroit Lake looks good also with light W 5-7mph, lapse rate to +6Kft.
I think I will work Friday and plan to fly Saturday.

The ridge of drunken optimism will persist until sunrise and start to dissapate followed by a trough of pessimistic reality which will build until late afternoon.

Be leary of midnight forecasts! It actually is looking like onshore flow and a fair amount of west for Parkdale and Hoover but that could change.
