The Friday forecast looks exceptional for Hoover Ridge.  Light NW winds, good lapse rate to +7K Ft.  XCSkies shows 7.5K ft. -3 thermal Index (TI) to over +5K ft. and -2 TI to over 7K ft. which indicates 600-700 fpm strength thermals.  Pretty good.

I have to work in the morning but will be ready to leave work in Wilsonville by 11am-noon.

Anyone want to go fly Friday

Dave

Maybe in the morning we can evaluate the coastal forecast as it might be a good day for Angora Knob, if there is a bit of interest. It  works best in a light NW, but not with high pressure.

I'm game.  I can meet you at 11am.  We need two cars for Hoover so hopefully others will join.
Mark
PS. My last flight there was great!
