This is a mountain day. Toutle (Elk) Silver Star Hardy Ridge in the  
Gorge, Hoover, etc. Problem is, the snow. Semi-harebrained idea; NW  
from Petersons.  Anyway, I'm actually thinking of driving up to the  
Toutle later but could be talked into Silver Star by an avid hiker.  
Expect lotsa snow. If I go there I'll probably take a small pair of

Gorge noaa says wind, maybe Bald Butte?

I'm hoping to leave work around noon and fly somewhere. MM5 has 'downgraded' its outlook for the Gorge today but I still think it looks pretty good, though BB would be fun.
