Subject: Downtown this morning... some flying machines were seen!! Then, on to Detroit Lake!!

I just "happened" to be downtown this morning... to my surprise these
flying machines were cruising PDX... down the river!!!  Looked like 8 had
made the trip and a beautiful fall morning.  We will not get many more of
these for a while!!  Got a few pics as they were passing by... then, I
headed off to Detroit Lake for some flying of my own.  Another great day
down there.  Conditions were lighter then Saturday - went higher and
farther today.  Got to see sights we NEVER get to see PG down there...
check out the damn and being at the other end of the lake was beautiful
today.  Tom N had his new motor (Nirvana Paramotor), Dave K and I flew over
23 miles according to Tom's info and 4500+ just cruising the mountain
range. My Parajet ran great today and just added to the sport of flying
with some friends to see new sights in the NW.  Hope we have a few more
nice weekends like this before the crap rolls in  :)
