The wind forecast was not good today but I had a short morning flight from the "750" launch. It is a drive up 750' above the Marshall LZ. The others opted not to fly but we did some kiting in the LZ. In the late afternoon the forecast showed winds backing down so we drove up to launch. It was coming in nice and three of us lanuched right at sunset. (Steve Roti earned Karma points for driving). We thought it would be a nice sled ride to the LZ but we all went up about 500' straight off launch without trying. The lift was smooth and abundant. After about a half hour we had to work at getting down before it got too dark. Seeing the lights of the city at dusk from up high was really memorable. Tomorrow is our last day...
