Just had a thought as I was about to send the last email. Would anyone
on the list be interested in getting together for an organized beach
clean up? There are truckloads of Styrofoam and other flotsam and jetsam
washing up on the beaches every day, and I am sure that most would look
favorably on our group efforts.

We do our best to take home some garbage every day we are out there.
Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. Every little bit helps.

If you are interested, and even better, if you are interested in taking
point on this, let me know. I can have a conversation with the guys in
charge and see how to best set it up.  I am not even sure which beach
would be the best for this effort, nor am I partial. I just think it
would be a great group project, looking at the sheer volume of stuff
coming onshore.

Brad, just a suggestion...see if the county or state can place garbage
containers of some sort so people are encouraged to deposit the junk
somewhere safe.
