Light winds today for Hoover Ridge.
MM5 (GFS) indicates soaring potential to +5K ft.   MM5 (NAM) indicates soaring potential to +6K ft. 
XCSkies shows good lift to +7K ft.
 
So, who you going to believe.  I am up for giving it a try though.
 
How about we meet at 11:30 at Tualatin park/ride, exit 290 and I5 at Bridgeport village.
