Word from the folks in Tillamook on the landslide....looks like we just need to wait a bit until they get equipment up there to clear it. I've offered our help as volunteers if there's anything they need warm bodies for.

Hooray....in the meanwhile amateur rock hounds are scouring the talus pile looking for minerals and precious metals. They have found lots of copper compounds. Too bad the stuff is
too crumbly for a gravel company and roads but it could be used as fill for something else.
