Hello CPC pilots,
Even though he was a staunch hangie, many of you knew and flew with Ron Travali over the years.  Sadly, he passed away September 30.  This was not due to a flying accident.  It was complications from an earlier heart surgery.

Michelle Travali has asked me to extend to you her invitation to gather in her and Ron's city home to honor Ron and celebrate his life.

WHO - Anyone that knew Ron is welcome to attend this celebration.

WHEN - This event is "open house" style from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM this Saturday, October 20.  Feel free to drop in anytime between those hours and stay for as long or short as you like.  No RSVP required.

WHERE - 1207 Monroe St. Oregon City, OR 97045.

BRING - You may bring something to eat or drink if you like.  Bring hugs instead of flowers.

I have also shared with Desert Air Riders and OHGA.  Can someone please share this with RVHPA and with Cloudbase Country Club if they have an email list?  Please respond to this thread if you successfully do so.

Thanks,
Devin Bailly

Thank you for posting this Devin.  I am very sad to hear this. Ron was such a great guy and I had known him for so long.  He was very encouraging to me, especially when I was starting to fly hang gliders and didn't have too much confidence.  I loved hanging out with him in Lakeview.  He was just one of those great guys that you loved to hang out with, who had been flying for so long.  I will miss him a lot.
