I walk my dog to the park and do the paved path through the park sometimes. There are lots of folks who do the same so you should feel safe there. I live on River Rouge and rent out a home on Stevenson.

I just moved out of Charlotte Park in January, but in the seven years my
husband & I lived over there, we walked (and jogged) quite a bit. I rarely
went out alone after dark, but in the early evening, found it a nice place
