Hi

I am new to SSIS and CozyRoc. Apologies if this has been answered
before but I searched the forum and could not find this question. I'm
trying to do something seemingly simple with an SFTP Task. I am trying
to retrieve a file from an FTP server.

I keep getting the error

SFTP Task Error: File represented by "/reports" does not exist

reports is a folder and that is the full path. I am using a
RemoteFilter and have specified the particular file I want in there. I
tried not using this filter and putting the name explicitly in the
Remote field. Still no luck.

Does anyone know why I am getting this error? I can find the file when
I use an FTP Client or a command prompt.

Cheers

Hi,

When you specify "/reports" as parameter you are specifying folder located in the root structure. Usually the specific folder you need is located as a sub-folder in the user's folder.

So you have to specify something like "/myusername/reports" instead. Please check if that is the case and make the appropriate corrections.

Regards,
Ivan

No in this case "/reports" is the correct path. I tried it again using
the command-prompt to double-check.
I am unable to get this working with the CozyRoc SFTP task though.

This all of a sudden started working. I have not touched the code at
all. In fact, I've been working on a brand new solution and when I got
the new one working I tried to see what was different to the
problematic one and then that one was working too. Not sure what other
factors could affect this though.

I am receiving the same error.  the task is the exact same error.  I can reach the files and pull them down using filezilla.  however I run any packages (now) and get the same error.
