Before I try playing around with this property to improve performance, how does the Compression property work?

Hi Ray,

Are you testing the new SSIS+ 1.6 Beta 2 or the previous version? The Compression property will enable gzip compression of the CRM web services. In the previous CRM 4.0 the compression was disabled by default because most CRM servers were not setup to use compression. I think MS did correct this for CRM 2011. Please give it a try. I would be interested to hear if you see any performance gains when using it.

I'm testing with Beta 2.

Which connection type would you recommend that I use for against CRM 2011 web services using Windows Authentication?

Hi Ray,

For CRM 2011 with Windows Authentication use CRM 4.0 Edition option.

I've run it a few times and it appears to function properly.  I haven't done any performance comparisons though.
