Yes, it is possible. Here is one way you can accomplish the
requirement:
1. Insert SFTP Task and select action "Get remote files list". Select
variable (type object) to store result list.
2. Insert "for each container" and select to iterate over the variable
from step 1.
3. Setup variable of type object and use this variable as iterator

are greater than the last confirmed load date? Right now it's loading

Hi,
Is anyone using the CozyRoc ODBC destination with an Oracle Rdb
database and SSIS running under SQL Server 2005?
I'm trying to use a SQL server source and an ODBC destination but
getting a "SSIS DEbug host" crash when it comes to the destination.

Thanks for the reply. I figured out that I had two copies of the
OpenPGP task in my package. One was on top of the other in the
designer so I did not see the duplicate. Once I deleted the duplicate
things ran smoothly.

Jeremy,

The only reason why you will get this error when trying to decrypt a
file is if you have set VerifySignature=TRUE and the public key ring
file is not provided. Set VerifySignature=FALSE and try again to
decrypt.

You can use either file connection manager or variable. When you use
variable you have to set EvaluateAsExpression=TRUE property on the
variable and then setup your variable expression. For the connection
manager you have to setup the expression in the connection manager,
not in the Zip Task. My guess is that right now you are dynamically

Ivan, does this file need to already exist? Here are my settings:

IsTargetVariable = False
Target = File Connection named Zip Target
OverwriteExisting = True

I have an expression set on the Zip Task which sets the Target name to the
following: SUBSTRING( @[User::varFTPFileName],1,
LEN(@[User::varFTPFileName])-3 ). This gives me a file with .log extension.

Yes, it is possible. You have to use CompressionType=File. For the
target parameter you have to create an expression, which dynamically
builds extracted file name from the source parameter file name. So
let's say you want to extract a source file:

c:\ftpdirectory\file1.txt.gz

Ivan thanks for responding. In my case I have roughly 20 gzip files
in this directory. I can't specify just one file name to extract to.
I changed to TAR and maintained the mapping to the directory and for
each file I received a Task Failed Zip Task error for each iteration.
Is it even possible to extract files using a loop?

Hi Ms.E

The target parameter has to point to actual file name, not a folder.
This is required only for CompressionType=File. All other types expect
folder as a target parameter.

I am trying to use the zip task within a foreach loop but I'm having
difficulty. The foreach loop points to a series of gzip files. Each
file's path and name is passed into a source variable. I've validated
that the source variable is populating correctly. I'm having problems
with the target variable. What is this property? Is it the path name

You can implement this logic using the SSIS framework. Here is one of

Antoni,

The SSIS packages are not dependent on the bitness of the machine.
Also most of the CozyRoc components work both in 32bit and 64bit mode.
Some of the bulk-load components require 32bit mode execution because
the required drivers are only available in 32bit mode.

Make sure you have installed SSIS+ 2008 for 64bit machines. There are
