Subject: CRM2011 Using Federation deployment in CRM Connection Manager on SISS tools 1.6

Hi Ivan,
We are evaluating SISS tools for our CRM data integration and i am have a
few challenges getting the CRM 2011 connection manager to work for me.

I have configured ADFS and it is working correctly (regular CRM users are
getting all of the dialogs etc and it is working fine).

If i use the CRM 4.0 connector with Premise it works fine, but i need the
2011 connector as i need to access new features it has access to.

when i click test connection on the 2011 connector it says:

TITLE: COZYROC SSIS+
------------------------------
Failed to download from
'https://devmd1.canada.org/adfs/services/trust/mex'. (CozyRoc.Dynamics)
------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized. (System)
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK
------------------------------
The URL it gives is good but on the ADFS port 444 not the regular https
port.
ie.
https://devmd1.canada.org:444/adfs/services/trust/mex works in my web
browser.

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,

The url below is returned by your CRM server. If the url is incorrect, then
this would mean your CRM server is not setup correctly. I would recommend
you again review your ADFS setup.

Regards,
Ivan
