Could any of you share your coworking rules? I know the fewer the
better, but I need to get something in print for our lawyer and
insurance folks. If anyone has anything they are willing to share,
please email me at mno...@iowacityarea.com

Thanks in advance.

I'm a huge fan of Beehive Baltimore's member agreement.

Beyond that, we live by:
Rule #1: don't be a jerk
Rule #2: pay your membership dues on time

Everything else is extraneous.

Hi Mark,

here is a link to our handbook containing ground rules / terms and
conditions at Moseley Exchange - this is in UK so law is specified as
such, and there is a lot of IT stuff that related to communal PC's on
the exchange IT system.

hope this is of use...

1.No kids under 10 years old aloud. We're not covered for that
2.Dont take up the conference room for more than 1 hr and a half unless
its a huge meeting. This way everyone has a chance to use this.
3.Clean up after yourself , its just courteous.
4.No pets , because the owner has a resident dog and hes not so friendly
with other dogs, but hes a ham for the members of course.

For us, there's a big difference between the form members sign that
complies with insurance and landlord stuff and the actual day to day
guidelines that keep us together as a group. The former is a bore but
necessary and I borrowed heavily from the original Citizen's Space's
agreement http://coherecommunity.com/images/membership_agreement.pdf.

The latter is simple and sweet. "Cohere is a self regulating community
of trustworthy and helpful people. 1) Don’t try to sell us anything
2) Don’t be a jackass"

This Mashable article is a good source of some of the more "additional" dos and don'ts of coworking.
