Hi everyone-

Wondering if anyone has shared a similar problem and if you have any
creative solutions. We've had great membership at the Hive and a
great core group of regular members. Of course we have seen patterns
emerge in our utilization and Wednesday and Thursdays have almost
always been our most crowded days. However, we have now reached a
point where nearly every Wednesday by 11am we are entirely full. Of
course, this is a great problem to have - but on other days we
definitely still have room to grow. Have you ever come up with ways
to incentivize people coming on different days?

Would appreciate any thoughts and suggestions!

Best,

Daria

Do something interesting and fun, like a group lunch or a mini-workshop series, on the other days.

Mondays and Fridays are really slow days at my space (it's in the
Czech Republic and people are very fond of leaving the big city for
the weekend, and in the case of freelancers, for long weekends). I'm
going to start having a weekly jelly/open house one on of those days.
Evenings and weekends are nearly dead times, so we've introduced an
evenings and weekends plan at half price. Almost no one uses it, but
it doesn't cost anything to have the option. I actually like having
predictable slow times because those are the times I know I can plan
events so they won't disturb the members. We have the benefit of
having a very compartmentalized space and no anchor desks, though, so
it's easy to do things like have a jelly or host an event during slow
times without disturbing existing members.
