Hello Everyone,
I have been totally out of touch with the group over the last few
months, but the Launch Time is here....ready or not!

I have a question that has been coming up and I have been mulling over
it...So I need some opinions....How do you charge for training rooms?
Due to new layout I have ended up with 2- 10x13 conference rooms ( up
to 6), a 26x15 meeting/training room ( up to 20-25, a large open
training room for up to 30 and the whole coworking area after hours up
to 100 +...Will let you know after launch, how many it actually will
hold....I have RSVP's for 180 and many not RSVP'ing

How do you price your rooms to members and non members?

HELP!!!! I am under launch stress...

Cheryl

Great question! I have my meeting room prices on my website,
www.theofficeconnexion.com/membership. HOWEVER, I have been thinking,
although competitive, the rates may be too high if we want to pull in
non-member rentals. Will watch to see what others say.

The conference rooms are started to gain interest by outsides in the
last 4 months at the time I was open 8 months. I don't market them on
the site besides a a footnote on the membership page. Here is what I
charge: 6 person room, $25/hour, $75 half day, $100 full day. Larger
15 person room - $150 all day. These rates are slightly lower than
others but what people seem to like is the environment and the
simplicity of it. They pay and get a projector, Wifi, whiteboard.
Done.

I often use this opportunity to invite non-members to stay awhile and
cowork for free for the day. This is is a great way to get to people
to better understand the concept of a coworking community versus
viewing it as a purely commercial transaction for the conference room.
