I've been lurking a bit on this list for about a month, absorbing some of the great stories, insights, and definitely the creativity, passion, and good will  here in the coworking community. And I'm excited to throw my hat in the ring with Local 64.

Local 64 will be the first creative coworking hub in Vermont's capital, Montpelier. To start, its a group of five of us - an architect, a game designer, and SEO guru, a business coach, and myself an artist/educator/web designer guy - who have been working since January to build some community around central Vermont's creative economy.

We're ready to put some resources in creating a permanent home. We're calling it Local 64, and I'd love your feedback on some of our materials. First thing to know, we incorporated as an L3C with the ambition of being able to open other unique spaces in nearby towns like Barre, Vermont. So while our first space is called Local 64, our parent company is called [blank] space.

You can download the materials at http://local64.com. As we're just starting out, I'd love your insights around:
- The context - what else do we need to say to make our case?
- The model - does mashing up coworking with venture mentoring and public programming make sense?
- The business - on first blush, do we have our numbers right?

Anything else you'd like to share, most welcome!

Co-heartedly,

lars
