Yesterday afternoon, Liz Elam, Tony Bacigalupo, and myself got to share some of our perspectives on coworking, where it's coming from, why it's different, and how it's impacting entrepreneurship & education at a pretty awesome conference at the US Chamber of Commerce.
The entire day was pretty amazing, and I wanted to share with the larger community that once again Coworking is getting a national (and international) stage presence.
The Business Journal covered the event and quoted us with some really great highlights. Also, you'll find a rare photo if me in a suit with a look on my face that says, "I wish i weren't wearing a suit".

Nice job, guys! Alex, you do clean up pretty good. ;)
Say, can any of you point me to the latest estimates on the number of
coworking spaces - in the US? worldwide? - and observed and projected
growth rates for the sector? I need some stats for an Ignite talk I'm
giving tonight, and hoping to find something more current then DeskMag's
survey from last winter.

Probably not. I have been talking to Sam at Blueseed (CFO) about the Wiki and also about the Marketplace a little bit, since I partnered up with them. But haven't talked to him this week at all.
You should reach out to them, though, they are very open.

Belated congrats to you all! Sounds like this was a wonderful opportunity
to put coworking in some excellent context. So glad that the three of you
were there (looking awesome to boot!).
