I know some of you have opinions on the new space and I know
Fredda is all ears, so lets get the collaboration going. If you're
interested in the new space, please take a moment to answer the
following questions:
What are the perks you'd want if you paid for a co-working space?
Do you need a meeting room for clients?
What sort of hours (in a perfect world) would you want the space open?
Describe your perfect space .. what does the space need for you to
put down your $$?
-Gregg
Thank you,
John
I'm intrigued by the concept, and would like to support it, but I'd
probably have to test drive the one-day model to see if it's a good
fit for me. Wondering how many others might be like that.
Best,
Alex
You can park on the street or in public/paid parking lots in the area. There are tons around. We could also make an available/exclusive spot for you in a private parking lot for $50 per month.

Remember, no many people can be here full time and even if they are
full-time members, no all of them would be here at the same time everyday.
Have you been here? If you want come see it, and then you can tell me what
you think?
To try it is a one-day member is more than fair...I am sure you are going to
enjoy it.
I am here mostly in the mornings. Let me know when you want to stop by.

I'll let you know when I have a morning to take a quick look.
Indy Hall is just now looking to expand, but they've been really
successful, so, it's a good problem for them to be faced with ;)

Also, is there some expectation that there might be people from out of
town who would be looking for coworking space for a day or two?
We also have suites available; I think that people who really want to be
here all day everyday may end up just renting one full space.
Well, technically, me.. ;)
Best,
Alex
Gregg told me to keep it simple for now. I think once we start seeing a
trend, we can develop more plans.
For now, if you will be here for one or two days, you can pay $50- $25 each
day.
Or you can pay the $175 and have more freedom.

What do the prices look like on those? Are they furnished? Can you
brand the office (i.e. sign on the door)? Would we still get to use
all the other features of the CoLab or is it a separate thing? Can you
fit a small team in them? What's the square footage?

Would you get an assigned desk? How do you know as a full timer that
you'd always be guarateed a spot? Could I leave stuff on the desk, or
do I have to clear out each night?
> $175 Part time- that is 3 days a week.
How would this be tracked? How would I know that I'd always have a
spot on the day I come in? Does it have to be the same three days a
week? Can I roll the days over? Let's say, if I was out of town that
week, could I go more the next week to make up the time?
> $25 for one day users.
Sounds reasonable, but still more expensive then hitting a coffee
house, especially once you factor in parking and the fact that $25
does not get you lunch. (Playing devil's advocate here. I'm more
interested in using the space more then one day a month anyway).

I will discuss all your concerns and ideas with the people involved in the
committee and also with the owner.
As for suites, we have different sizes and different prices.
We have some furnished suites (2) and that runs from $800 for a 12 months
lease or $825 for a 6 months lease. Yes you can fit a small team there.
Unfurnished suites start at $600 to $925- this includes the space, utilities
and Internet.
The size and dimensions of the suites varies. Have you been here? Why don't
you come and show you all around. I think you are going to love it!
Yes, the co working space is also included as it is the use of the
conference room.
In order, to have a scheduling system that is electronic, we will need one
of you (the community) to collaborate and help us put that together; I know
that is a great idea but it cost money so, it will be great whoever can
offer to work on that.
Let me know if you want to schedule a meeting to discuss all your ideas and
to give you a tour.
Thanks!
Fredda

If you guys (colab) aren't already hanging around on the global
coworking list, might want to check into it. I'm pretty sure
scheduling systems have already been addressed and are likely open
sourced. An assumption, but, a likely one ;)
