Hi there and welcome to Coworking!
This group is intended as a support and discussion network amongst people interested in Coworking on some level: as a catalyst, as a space owner or as a coworker. Feel free to lurk, of course. :)
If you aren't familiar with Coworking, you may want to check out our group blog:

and the Wiki:

Guidelines to posting to this group:
- Make certain you introduce yourself first.
It's good to know that there is a person behind the email we can
contact for more information. Sign your name and leave contact details. Please note: your first message to the group will be moderated. It may be several hours before someone approves it. We do this to prevent spam to the group.
- It is strongly
advised that you introduce yourself and let the group get to know you
before you send any messages promoting your space. It's
beneficial for both you and the group. In fact, coming into the list
early in your development and talking about what you are doing, asking
questions and offering advice to others setting up the space will give
you a stronger footing in the community. Then, when you announce the
opening of your space, people will be happy for you instead of
wondering where the heck you came from.
- Everyone is welcome, no
matter what their interests (corporate, personal, community, etc.), but
do remember that Coworking is rooted in strong values: Collaboration,
Openness, Community and Sustainability
. We don't have a 'test' to determine whether you are a
coworking space or not, but it is important that anyone approaching the
list respect those values. We welcome the growth of spaces that welcome
independent workers, but there is a distinct difference between a
coworking space and executive suites or shared desks. A couple of the
founders of coworking created an awesome video that is posted here: http://ryanishungry.com/2007/06/27/co-working-independent-workers-unite/ that describes how coworking is a bit different.
