Posting policy change due to spam wave

I have been overwhelmed with spam submissions to this group, as it's
possible to submit by e-mail to Google groups. As the postings were
moderated none made it into the group, but I have been busy deleting
submissions every day. Unfortunately the only way to deal with this
problem is to restrict who can post, therefor from now on only members
can post and all posts will be moderated.

So if you want to post here, just join the group - anyone is free to
join. After which you can post just like before. Hopefully this small
extra step will stop spam submissions by e-mail.

It's unfortunate that we have to take measures like that as I am a
strong believer in openness and would like to make it as easy as
possible for people to ask questions, but unfortunately that openness
gets abused.
