Manage list and show functions

Hello,

I am new to CouchDB and as well to couchdb-python. Thanks for this
tool!

I am just exploring the functions and wondering if it's possible to
manage list and show functions with couchdb-python ? (May i write them
in python and sync them with couchdb the same way as views?)

How can I build couchdb-python from source to make use of it's python
view-server?

Hi Thomas,

Suddenly, there is no support of your requests in current releases or
tip commit. However, issue 146[1] provides query server with full
support of Pythonic show/list/update and other design functions as
Javascript one does. To define them as scheme objects you may try to
apply patch from issue 186[2]. It's quite raw and I've not review it
for a long time, but it should works well with new query server. If
something wouldn't work correct or as expected - tell us(:
