If the guy is white, it will be hard to see his head; tough the gray skin
did not fit very well. How about a voting poll? Gray guy vs Guy with
background vs White Guy without background?

Looks like this is not problem for http://couchdb.org - look at top of the
page. However, I agree that it missed some part of his cool hair(:
How about to add tiny black border for white parts that goes outside of red
couch? AFAIK, that is a common practice for such cases and it might keep
original logo colors, but just made it slightly better on while background.
How do you like such idea?
