Subject: UI Feature Request -- session timeout
5 minutes is too short for the management console default timeout.
(Does everyone at Couchbase use this default?) If a timeout *must* be
set, 30 minutes seems more reasonable, but it is unclear why any
timeout is needed.  There should also be an easy way to change the
default value.

Good point.

This is best filed over at couchbase.com/issues if not already filed there.

I for one just type my password often, though I know which line in the javascript to edit to go longer.

Sure, in app.js (this can be in different places depending on the OS), if you change this line it'll be longer:
    this.timeoutId = setTimeout($m(this, 'onTimeout'), 1800000);

That's 30 minutes right there.
