I would like to put in a plug for including the Corvallis Independent Business Alliance information in your web portal.

As you may know CIBA runs the "Buy Local First" campaign in Corvallis, encouraging residents to keep their dollars in the local economy. Locally-owned businesses provide a strong multiplier effect as well as positively impacting the overall health and livability of the community. As CIBA expands the campaign to include "Invest Local" and "Produce Local" as well as "Buy Local", I feel it would be beneficial for local start-ups to know about the support provided by this kind of public education program. Our "Oregon Webstores" group includes [link] , [link] , [link] , [link] , and [link] .

I don't know if you might be able to help us with some of your connections, but we are interested in selling some or all of these stores in the coming year so we can "retire". Though we are still working on financials, we are looking at using the retail value of inventory as a starting point for the sales price. For instance, website and inventory together might be priced at 80% of the retail value of the inventory. Does this make any sense, and do you know of any local people who might be interested? Does anyone know of other pricing models for online retail businesses? We'd like to sell locally, since we have the warehouse set up and running with knowledgeable employees.

You should be fine. Go to [link] and follow the
instructions there to get your URL with no numbers.
There is nothing you can do about the other community page. Its first come
first serve for the URLs.

I'm assuming this is for the Arts Center. I took a look and looks like the
secure area is still on the theartscenter.net domain. That means you ~can~
