The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition has joined forces with the Corvallis Independent Business Alliance (CIBA) to launch an ongoing campaign that starts next Saturday!

Saturday, December 3, 2011

·         Visit locally owned independent businesses for special treats, sales, or discounts.  Take a look HERE for a list of participating businesses.

·         Pick up a special Buy Local Hero Contest envelope at a participating business, and start saving your receipts whenever you shop at a locally owned independent business.

·         Check out the Buy Local First Facebook to stay up-to-date on the details.

 

Buy Local Hero Contest

December 3 - 17, 2011

·         Save receipts from money spent at locally owned independent businesses from December 3^rd to 17^th.  Both retail stores and service sector businesses qualify, as long as they are locally owned and independent.

·         Turn in receipts from the greatest number of locally owned independent businesses and win a basket filled with fabulous prizes donated by CIBA businesses! 

·         Prizes will be awarded to 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place winners.
