New issue 1627 by jyfuln...@gmail.com: Warning: no event handler for timer.
Sorry but an error has occured.
http://code.google.com/p/corsix-th/issues/detail?id=1627

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Seems like every restart or loading older saves consistently lock up the
game.
2. I'm on Level 4. After having bought new buildings for expansion, I am
moving certain rooms to the newer buildings and rearranging the current
layout of the first building. I've restarted now about a dozen times,
trying a different order of things, but I'm not preventing whatever the
problem is.
3. Also, I searched, but if there's a how-to page for corsixTH beginners I
need to track down... My coding game skills are nil. I apologize for my
ignorance up front. I found potentially related bugs by keyword search, but
I don't know if there's something I'm supposed to download or copy code?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No crashing; normal gameplay.

What version of CorsixTH are you using (e.g. "Beta 2", "SVN r123")?
CorsixTH-0.21-Win64

What operating system / compile settings are you using?
Windows 7 64 / Don't know about compile settings?

What level was this on (e.g. "Demo level", "Full game level 12")?
Full Game Level 4

Attach a saved game file (preferably an autosave from before the error) if
you have one and it is relevant.
I would be glad to do this, but I can't find the save files. If you'll
point me to the how-to-help-you-help-me page? I found CorsixTH dump files
only. In the meanwhile, I saved images of the corsixTH console codes on the
last two tries. They are a bit different which makes it all the more
frustrating for me. Please find them attached.

Please provide any additional information below.

Thanks so much for doing all of this. I really didn't want to have to dig
through the shed to find my old Playstation and console discs when I had
one I could play on my computer! Despite it spazzing out, I still love this
game. Fifteen years later.

Huzzah! I tracked down the save files via another thread about an unrelated
issue. Please find attached most recent save files.

I have looked at the first save and the guy circled is meant to be in the
queue for Gen Diag, but when you look at the queue for that room there is
no one. After a while he causes an error. There are also patients with a
loo roll above their heads, but they are not in a queue for any toilet.
Looks like something went wrong a while back.
When you were expanding did you edit then move the existing room or build a
new one and remove the old one?
Both should be possible, but I have a feeling doing the first might not
always work as expected.

Interesting. I have older saves if you guys would like to look through them
to correct some kind of coding.

Most of the expanding, I moved the existing room, as you suspected. A few
times I accidentally 'x'ed out and started fresh. That was before I
realized deleting items or rooms gave you money back.

I ended up restarting the level and never ran into the problem again. The
only consistent problem I get is the graphics and corsixTH glitching after
playing the game for a period of time. Is there a thread I should join
regarding reporting that?

Thanks, Mark!

That depends. Does any of these explain your "glitch"?

No. I'll try to take screenshots and post them when I get a chance. Often,
the needle produces tracers, for example.

Well, that worked out. First time on loading the game. Please see attached
photos.

The second two I had to take with my phone because print screen would only
capture the first tracer like in the first photo despite them being all
over the screen.

When the game does this, I can usually expect to run into graphical game
errors while playing. Screens such as staff lists and such lose their
backgrounds and become illegible. I then have to close the game and wait.
Restarting the game does not guarantee correction. I'll try to capture more
screens if these experiences do not seem familiar to you.

@7 This really looks like the known graphical glitches with the OpenGL
version. Does the SDL-version work correctly?

The SDL-version does not zoom in/out so I do not prefer it. I have not used
it enough to really test it.

@11 Is this a screenshot of the SDL-version?
